Classic Marques Speed Challenge.

So, what is the philosophy behind Classic Marques?
Speed events are about today; the venue, conditions, entrants, best driver.

To make the series fair each car is given a handicap factor based on power, weight and tyres fixed until the car spec changes. We even include the weight of the driver in the handicap algorithm.

Past achievements, course records and target times are NOT used to calculate handicaps.

Results must be timely and that’s why the points and new leaderboard are published on the Monday following the event.

Any rear wheel drive sports or sports saloon car is welcome.

Typical eligible sports and sports saloon cars made by British marques are AC, Allard, Aston Martin, Austin, Austin Healey, Elva, Gilbern, Ginetta, Jaguar, Lotus, Marcos, MG, Morgan, Reliant, Sunbeam, Triumph and TVR. The series also includes non-uk sports cars  Alfa Romeo, Alpine Renault, Ferrari, Honda, Lancia, Mazda, Nissan, Porsche, Renault, Toyota and Volvo although this list is not exhaustive.
